The mythological island Themiscyra is the ancient paradise of the Legendary Amazon that was covered with beautiful vegetation. This land was blessed by the gods of Olympus and allowed for fruitful harvests every year.  The Legendary Amazons were an all-woman tribe of warriors that constantly engaged in physical combat as well as intellectual battles. This often resulted in the grandest celebrations using the bounty of their harvest. The celebrations were akin to that of the Olympics with the Amazons running an obstacle course. The winner was awarded a warrior title and renowned amongst her kind.
